TOP 50 MBA SUPER RANKING 2016-2017Professionals with an MBA degree are some of the most attractive employees to have on a team. Employers and recruiters know that professionals with MBA degrees have a proven commitment to their education and business career and have experience and a depth of knowledge in the core fundamentals of business. MBA students study through the critical business topics of accounting, statistics, marketing, business law, and ethics. Students also gain experience in decision-making, change management, innovative thinking, and conflict management. This is why employers are always looking for professionals with an MBA degree.

Not every MBA program is created equal. There are currently over 1,052 graduate programs in the area of business administration in the US. It is important for prospective MBA students to vet their potential schools by pricing, location, possible specialization courses, and prestige. All of these factors play into a student’s possible return on investment. Prestige in the business and education world can have a significant effect on students because a particular MBA’s brand power will transfer into their resume and competitive advantage in the job market.

Methodology

This Super Ranking vetted over 450 US MBA programs based on their prestige and quality.  Each school was ranked on their scoring in the six leading MBA ranking systems today. MBA ranking scores were taken from US News and World Report, Bloomberg Businessweek, Forbes, The Financial Times, The Economist, and Eduniversal. Each ranking systems has its own particular focus on which to quantify each program. Each list was compiled and placed on a 100 point scale. Then all the data was gathered with equal weight and averaged. This provides a more subjective score without the idiosyncratic elements of each ranking system’s methodology. This average is provided as the Top Management Degrees Score that is listed with each school bio.
